Calculate the new rent with the official health index from Statbel. Choose your region first: the rules differ between Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.

- Fill in the date the lease took effect.
- Fill in the rent from the lease, for example 750 or 750,50.
- Choose the anniversary.
A calculation aid, not legal advice. Your lease can exclude indexation. When in doubt, ask a lawyer or the housing service of your region.
How the calculation works
The new rent is the rent in the lease, multiplied by the new index and divided by the starting index. Both figures are the health index published by Statbel. Charges are not indexed.
Which months are used

The calculator follows the rules for a lease of a main residence. Student leases and other leases can follow other rules.
